Alocasia baginda 'Pink Dragon' (Elephant Ear)

Alocasia baginda is native to Kalimantan, Indonesia. As a houseplant it is rare in commerce, with the unimproved species, and the cultivars 'Pink Dragon', 'Dragonscale', 'Green Dragon' and 'Silver Dragon'.

The cultivar 'Pink Dragon' is admired for its large, leathery leaves with a metallic sheen. The foliage is dark green with prominent silver veins, creating a dramatic contrast. What sets 'Pink Dragon' apart are its vibrant pink petioles, which give the plant its name and add to its exotic allure. H 60-90cm.
