Anigozanthos Celebrations 'Aussie Spirit' (Kangaroo Paw)

Ground-breaking plant hybridisation research at the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority has produced a stunning blue kangaroo paw. Only released in March 2022, it’s now available at the Native Plant Project e-nursery.

This variety is a golden base topped with green flowers; the most compact variety in the series.

This very special variety of kangaroo paw are mid-sized for the species. The intensity of the blue flower colour is best expressed in full sun, with paler colours in part or full shade. It’s recommended for potting and can be multi-planted in a larger pot, or used as a border plant where soil pH is not too high. Best in full sun-part shade and flowers year round once established.
