Bougainvillea glabra ‘Magnifica Traillii’ (Paper Flower)

A vigorous, sub-tropical, climbing shrub with bright scarlet flowers that begin to appear from spring. Semi-evergreen that requires a sunny position moist free-draining soil. Will need to be watered well during the summer months. Also known as 'San Diego Red', the strong vine-like habit of Bougainvillea glabra 'Scarlet O'Hara' bears masses of deep magenta-red flower-like bracts. Grows to 5m tall when left to grow without pruning.
