Dysosma versipellis 'Spotty Dotty' is a rhizomatous, herbaceous perennial with large, umbrella-shaped leaves that have pointed lobes and are heavily-spotted with bronze, particularly in spring. Dark red, hanging, narrow, bell-shaped flowers appear below the leaves in late spring or early summer. Previously Podophyllum versipelle, this species is native to China. H 50cm
WARNING: All parts of this plant are highly toxic if eaten. Wear gloves when handling the plant and wash hands afterwards. The ripe fruits are edible but the seeds are toxic.
