Fuchsia arborescens (Tree Fuchsia)

Fuchsia arborescens, commonly known as the Tree Fuchsia, is native to Central America. It belongs to the section Schufia and is most closely related to Fuchsia paniculata. Rounded bush with dark green glossy leaves. Masses of lilac flowers develop from ends of stems and very show, covering the bush from Spring to Summer. Will grow into a small tree if not pruned. Suitable for borders and hedges. Prefers a cool site. H 2m x W 1.5m.
