Gladiolus murielae 'Pink' (Peacock Orchid)

Gladiolus murielae (syn. Acidanthera bicolor) is a species of flowering plant in the family Iridaceae, native to eastern Africa, from Ethiopia to Malawi. It has been given a number of English names, including Abyssinian gladiolus and fragrant gladiolus. It was formerly placed in the genus Acidanthera.
These wonderfully fragrant summer-blooming bulbs have nodding, snow white flowers on slender stems. The upright plants stand 60-90cm tall and have grassy foliage. This is an easy to grow in containers, perennial gardens and cutting gardens. Plant the bulbs in spring for flowers in late summer.
This variety has light pink flowers.
