Hedychium greenii (Hardy Ginger)

A hardy ginger with dark green and deep maroon foliage followed by orange to red flowers in summer. During cool summers it is not unusual for this ginger to fail on the flowering side but is just as attractive for its foliage. Plant in humus rich, moist but well drained soil in partial shade.

Usually shipped as dormant to semi-dormant plants in the winter. For other seasons the plant may be cut back for shipping.
