Leucadendron floridum, the Flats Conebush, is a flower-bearing shrub from the Fynbos. The plant is native to the Western Cape, where it occurs in the Cape Flats, from Rondebosch to Kuils River and also in the Cape Peninsula around most wetlands.
Leucadendron floridum 'Pisa' is an evergreen cultivar known for its fine, silvery-green foliage that twists along the stems, and showy, sulfur-yellow bracts that emerge in spring, surrounding large silver cones.
