Macadamia 'GT201'

The tree produces masses of perfumed pink flower racemes, followed by clusters of hanging fruits. The kernel sits inside a hard woody round shell, and has average sized nuts. This tree is a heavy and consistant cropper, reaching 6-8m at maturity. Pollination is primarily by honey bees. Weather will affect pollination if too windy and wet during flowering resulting in a low nut set. Ideal pollinator for Beaumont. Takes 4-5 years to first fruit and 7-8 months for the nuts to mature. Harvest from April to May when nuts are full size.
