Cox's Orange is a medium-sized early fruit, red striped over yellowish-green skin colour with sharp tangy flavour. A quality dessert apple. The tree is upright and vigorous.

M116: Semi-dwarf. This is a modern semi-vigorous apple rootstock known as a strong replacement for MM106, offering similar high yields but in a slightly smaller tree, around 10% less vigorous, with excellent resistance to collar rot (Phytophthora), mildew, and woolly apple aphid, making it great for replant sites and heavier soils, though it's harder to propagate via cuttings. Bred from MM106 x M27 at East Malling, it provides good productivity, precocity, and adaptability, requiring staking when young.

Cultural: Plant in deeply worked, free-draining soil. Gently and evenly spread roots in hole before covering. Firm well then water in. Unless necessary, do not water again until tree is in full leaf, and do not add fertiliser at time of planting unless recommeded.
