Metrosideros tomentosa 'Dalese' (Pōhutukawa)

Metrosideros 'Dalese' is a low growing shrub that has small lime green foliage, growing in a compact habit. During summer this variety blooms red, petite flowerheads. This densely growing plant is ideal for low hedges and borders, especially grown in front of a patio or along a driveway. Requires a sunny position in well drained soil. Once established it will withstand exposure to coastal conditions. Prune as desired to encourage compact new growth. Water well during extended dry periods. H 1m x W 1.5m.
