Paeonia lactiflora 'Duchesse de Nemours' (Peony)

Double – White – Early. Notable fragrance. Large, cupped, white guards and a moderately full center of light canary-yellow deepening to a pale green at the base of the petals; very floriferous; stems erect and strong. Excellent foliage. The general impression is a rounded flattish globe-like flower. Dependable and well regarded for its profuse production of medium-sized blooms, and its excellent garden habit. Mrs. D. Y.
