Pandanus amaryllifolius is a tropical plant in the Pandanus genus, which is commonly known as Pandan, Rampe or Raambaa Faiy (Maldivian, ރާންބާފަތް). It has fragrant leaves which are used widely for flavouring in the cuisines of Southeast Asia and South Asia. Flowers rarely, and only male flowers are known. The flowers formed on a tall inflorescence are very fragrant. In colder countries like NZ, the fragrant oils in the leaves are not expressed as well as in the tropics. H 6m x W 4m.
