Philodendron gloriosum (Creeping Velvet Philodendron)

Philodendron gloriosum is a striking plant with large, velvety leaves that are heart-shaped and have prominent veins. The foliage of this plant ranges in color from deep green to iridescent blue-green, and its texture is soft and lush to the touch. A terrestrial, creeping species that grows horizontally along the ground via a rhizome, rather than climbing. The green foliage is characterized by a large, cordate (heart-shaped) form, velutinous (velvety) texture, pink leaf margins, and striking pale-green to white or pink-tinted veins (especially in emergent or younger leaves).
