Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Little Gem' (Kōhūhū, Black Matipo)

Pittosporum tenuifolium is a small evergreen tree endemic to New Zealand, up to 10m tall when mature. Commonly known as kōhūhū and black matipo, and by other Māori names kohukohu and tawhiwhi. Its small, very dark, reddish-purple flowers generally go unnoticed, and are scented only at night.

Pittosporum 'Little Gem' is a compact, evergreen shrub, renowned for its dense, rounded form and vibrant green foliage. An excellent choice for low hedging, borders, or container planting. This hardy plant thrives in full sun to partial shade and tolerates coastal conditions, wind, and light frost, making it versatile for various garden settings. H 90cm x W 90cm.
