Pyrus pyrifolia 'Nashi Hosui' (Asian Pear)

Pyrus pyrifolia ‘Hosui’ has golden-brown skin, and is extremely juicy with fine-grain textured flesh with rich flavour and tastes distinctly of brandy. Partly self-fertile but will produce more fruit when planted near another Asian Pear such as 'Nijisseiki'.

Ripening Time: 'Hosui' pears are an early to mid-season variety, ripening in late summer to early autumn.
