Trillium chloropetalum (Giant Trillium, Wood Lily) White

Trillium chloropetalum, also known as Giant Trillium, Giant Wakerobin, or Common Trillium, is a species of flowering plant in the family Melanthiaceae. It is endemic to the western US state of California, being especially frequent in and around the San Francisco Bay Area.

A lovely spring flowering perennial with a single flower rising directly from 3 large mottled leaves. Flowers can be white, cream, green, pink, wine & maroon. Best grown in rich soil in a partly shaded situation. An ideal woodland plant and great for borders. H 60cm.
