Viburnum × burkwoodii 'Fulbrook' (Arrowwood)

A bushy, deciduous shrub with glossy dark green leaves, downy beneath, with red, orange or yellow autumn tints, and highly fragrant, tubular white flowers from pink buds, borne in large domed terminal clusters to 11cm in width, produced from late winter to spring; red fruits ripen to black in autumn. Large conical clusters of sweetly scented flowers, opening from pink bud to pure white blooms. Medium sized shrub. Plant in heavy, rich, free-draining, moisture retentive soil in sun or part shade. Deciduous. Hardy. Requires full or partial sun. This plant is easily grown in moderately fertile, humus-rich, medium moisture. H 2.5m x W 2m.
