Vitex lucens (Pūriri)

A small evergreen tree native to New Zealand. Has dark, green glossy and produces cup-shaped, pinkish-red flowers followed by bright orange-red berries. Requires shelter when young, tolerates only mild frosts. Suitable for growing in either full sun or partial shade. H 10m x W 8m.
