Beschorneria yuccoides is a stemless plant with 20-35 linear, lanceolate, leathery leaves that are widened at their base. They are gray-green to green, about 40β60cm long and 3.3β3.5cm across. The leaf margins are finely denticulate. The inflorescence reaches a height of 1β1.8m, with a maximum of 3.2m. The stem and the bract are red. The flowers are 4-5cm long. The fruits are elongated to almost spherical, 3β4cm long and 1.5β2.5cm across.
The variety 'Flamingo Glow' has leaves with yellow central stripes, and in Summer on mature plants, pink to reddish-pink stems bearing panicles of tubular, yellow-green flowers with prominent pink to red bracts. Grows to 1.5m high and 1m across.
