Casimiroa edulis commonly known as the white sapote, casimiroa, Mexican apple, cochitzapotl in the Nahuatl language is a species of tropical fruiting tree in the family Rutaceae (citrus family), native to eastern Mexico and Central America south to Costa Rica.
A small to medium tree perfect for the corner of the section as a shade tree. or for the smaller garden. Considered one of the best varieties of Casimiroa. Good bearer of fruit a mature tree can produce up to 1,000 fruit per year. Highly nutritious and rich in vitamins, including A and C.
