Citrus crassifolia 'Meiwa' (Kumquat)

A highly ornamental citrus, with small orange fruit, ripening August - September. The flesh is sour but the rind is sweet & is excellent for candied fruit & preserves. An excellent container plant, with compact habit.

Grown on Trifoliata rootstock. Round, spicy, sweet fruit that is excellent for marmalade, preserves and candied fruit. A showy smaller shrub perfect fro container growing. The hardiest of all citrus.
