Citrus × sinensis 'Barnfield' (Orange)

'Barnfield' is a navel orange first selected by Wayne Barnfield, Ellerslie, NSW, Australia, circa 1985. It is apparently a sport of Washington navel; said to have good size and carry well on tree without chemicals until June. This variety is renowned for its juicy and sweetly flavoured fruit.

Barnfield is an ultra late season navel orange. It is a good size fruit with a deep orange peel and delicious, intense late-season flavour; sweet and satisfying. Barnfield is usually seedless, although occasional seeds can be found due to cross pollination.

Grown on Trifoliata rootstock. This late season navel orange has good sized fruit with a deep orange peel and delicious intense late-season flavour. Rare in cultivation.
