Citrus x paradisi 'Star Ruby' (Grapefruit)

Produces abundant crops of juicy, pink to red-fleshed pleasantly flavoured seedless fruit with thin yellow skin and high juice. 'Star Ruby' grapefruit has the darkest flesh of all the red grapefruit varieties. Plant in a sheltered, sunny position. Fruit holds well on tree. Ripens August-November.

This variety is slow growing and has a compact bushy shape.

Note: Intensity of red flesh will be less in cooler climates.
