Coffea arabica (Arabic Coffee)

Coffea arabica, also known as the Arabic coffee, is a species of flowering plant in the coffee and madder family Rubiaceae. It is believed to be the first species of coffee to have been cultivated and is currently the dominant cultivar, representing about 60% of the global production.

This is an ideal house plant with its glossy green leaves, jasmine scented flowers and red coffee beans. Grow your own Latte. Evergreen with glossy green lanceolate leaves up to 20cm long. White star-shaped flowers in spring form in clusters and have a strong Jasmine like fragrance. Coffee cherries turning from green to red in time for Christmas.
