Ficus carica 'Pouto Sugar' (Fig)

Introducing the 'Pouto Sugar', an ideal fig for home gardens. 'Pouto Sugar' lives up to it's name producing a very sweet fig. An early producer of small, pear shaped, red brown colour on one end with pale flesh. Mature height 4-8m (depending on annual pruning). This fig was used as a sweetener, usually dried/bottled and then added to other dishes.
