Helleborus foetidus, known variously as Stinking Hellebore, Dungwort, Setterwort and Bear's Foot, is a species of flowering plant in the buttercup family Ranunculaceae, native to the mountainous regions of Central and Southern Europe and Asia Minor.
Helleborus foetidus 'Wester Flisk' is a handsome clump forming plant with graceful, deep green foliage with a reddish tinge, especially the juvenile foliage. Flowers are perfectly formed, pale green bells edged maroon and give a pleasing display in late winter/early spring. Helleborus enjoy rich, well-drained soil and grow well in sun or part shade. Hardy, enjoys lime. H 75cm x 1m.
