Magnolia 'Gold Star'

A vigorous bushy small tree bearing pale yellow star-shaped flowers in early spring before the leaves open. The leaves are large and rounded with maroon colouration on new growth. H 4m x W 3m.

The parents of this hybrid are Magnolia acuminata var. subcordata ‘Miss Honeybee’ and Magnolia stellata ‘Rubra’.
