Prunus persica 'Mabel' (Nectarine)

This is a selection from a genetic mutation that occurred in a seedling in Waikato. This nectarine has burgundy-purple foliage for the home orchard with sweet purple-skinned nectarines in February. Very leaf curl resistant and suitable for all regions in New Zealand. Grows to 3.5m tall and 3m wide. All Nectarines varieties are self-fertile and will crop well on their own.

Plants are over 1.2m tall, and plants taller than this may need trimming at the top to fit into our shipping boxes. If ordering over 10 trees, we can ship on a pallet without trimming. Please contact us for details.
