Rhododendron 'Cilpinense'

Rhododendron 'Cilpinense'- is a hybrid between R. ciliatum x R. moupinense. Low growing evergreen shrub with rounded habit and glossy, bright-green foliage. Perfect to grow under large trees in a sheltered position. In August-September, rosy-coloured buds open to reveal magnificent trusses of bell-shaped, blush-pink flowers. Plant in well-draining, humus-rich, acidic soil. Early flowering pale pink bell type flower open to white with darter anthers. Height to 50-75cm over 10 years.
