Vaccinium macrocarpon 'Bergman' (Cranberry)

Vaccinium macrocarpon, also called Large Cranberry, American Cranberry and Bearberry, is a North American species of cranberry in the subgenus Oxycoccus.

The variety 'Bergman' is an attractive groundcover, with starry white-pale pink flowers in spring. Great for spilling over banks and baskets. Lower chilled temperature required compared to the variety 'Crowley'. High in anti-oxidants, with a good source of Vitamin A and C. Great for acidic wet soils. Hardy and easy to grow.
